The 20s – They Were the Cat’s Meow

“The 20s – They Were the Cat’s Meow”, will simulate a speakeasy right in the Waseca County Historical Society Museum.

Mannequins dressed in period clothing will be displayed dancing the night away at the speakeasy. The 20s clothing is on loan from Vagabond Village in Mankato, and the Little Theatre of Owatonna’s Coletta Collection. Also, an immersive photo op set will be available for people to come take their very own vintage postcard style photos with their cell phones or cameras, to upload to their social media. Pose like a flapper, mobster, or bootlegger with props and lavish period furniture!
