Steely Dan/Frank Zappa Tribute

$25 – $35The music of Steely Dan and Frank Zappa will be performed by area jazz, rock, and classical musicians in “Steely Ann and Joe’s Garage,” a tribute show on Saturday, April 13, at the historic Kato Ballroom.
Steely Ann is the music of Steely Dan with female leads and jazz-heavy interpretations of instrumental solos, and consists of Ann Rosenquist Fee (vocals), Rachel Maccabee (vocals), Chaz Draper (drums) Craig Matarrese (bass), Larry McDonough (keys, vocals), and Johnny Moeller (guitar, vocals).
Joe’s Garage is selected works of Frank Zappa as performed by Joe Tougas (guitar, vocals), ARK (vocals), Kat Baumann (vocals), Evan Bierer (sax), Josh Forbord (tuba, trumpet), James Mackey (trombone), Ryan Rader (drums), Scott Rahe (drums), Justin Tollefson (vibes, keys), David Viscoli (piano) and Eric Zimmerman (bass).
Tickets are $35 VIP (front-row seating) and $25 general admission, available only at katoballroom.com. Doors and cash bar open at 7:00 p.m., with music at 8:00 p.m.
