Come one and all to our 50th Annual Show! We are excited to be featuring tractors of every make that have been to our shows in the past! Over 100 acres of activities for the whole family including a special scavenger hunt with a treat at the end for all who finish the hunt!
We started in 1974 as an area threshing bee and have grown into the show you see today. Over the years we have added a lot of new attractions. Something for everyone including a playground for the kids. Admission is $10 for adults, and children 12 and under get in free to the show! Tickets are only available at our main gate, with no advance sales. We also do not sell merchandise here on Facebook and there will be no live viewing online of this event.
Activities and demonstrations include grain threshing, straw baling, plowing, combining, and corn chopping, all done with tractors, steamers and workhorses. We have a Home Demonstration Building with broom making, quilting, weaving, yarn spinning, and a vintage hat collection complete with daily demonstrations. Don’t miss our Miniatureland with scale models of tractors and other machinery and of course, you won’t want to miss a free ride on our model train for kids of all ages!
Gas Engine Alley is right next to Miniatureland with all sorts of equipment of the past powered by small gas engines. Our Sawmill will be cutting lumber, our steam building provides a display of work engines, and be sure to visit the diesel engine that used to power the city of Le Sueur. Be sure to stop by our Shingle Mill and get your very own cedar shingle, a bag of cedar shavings and then watch wood planing and veneer milling. Our Blacksmith shop can show you how they make horseshoes, nails, and a variety of wrought iron wares.
Our grounds include a U.S. Post Office, a Shoe Repair Shop, and our Print Shop We also have our Dirt Gang who demonstrates vintage and antique construction equipment. There is a tractor pull on the East side of our grounds on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We have live music & dancing, lots of food choices all throughout the day, all throughout the grounds! And did we mention our daily parade?
You also won’t want to miss the display in our Feature Building which will highlight the people and equipment used at our very first shows! We will have souvenirs available in the Feature Building as well as T-shirts, treats, and Pioneer Power-related clothing in our Country store.
