Mankato Area Youth Symphony Orchestra Summer Session Concert

Mankato Area Youth Symphony Orchestra (MAYSO) will present its Summer Session concert “Homespun Fun.”

The concert will feature combined Philharmonic and Youth Orchestras and award-winning Bluegrass musicians Becky Buller and Ned Luberecki both of the Becky Buller Band.

The orchestra will perform some classic Americana pieces such as Copland’s Hoedown to open the concert followed by a set by Becky and Ned. The finale will be an exciting collaboration between the orchestra and Ned and Becky performing some of Becky’s songs expertly arranged for the orchestra by area artist, Benjamin Inniger. The orchestra is directed by David Stordalen and Mark Wamma.
