Lost Time: Art by Matthew Harding

Join us for the first exhibition of our 20th season. This month we’re featuring Lost Time by artist Matthew P Harding. The Show runs from August 4th to 19th.

I’m an artist living in Mankato who was raised nearby. My artwork ranges from emotional abstracts to made-up or real cities to deserted locations.

The final product of my art is made up of several layers that alternate between detailed and hazy lines.

Movement and how motionless time can seem when things are left alone and how nature will always take over in the end affect me. As a child, I loved to explore, and now that I’m older, I can practically still go on imaginary adventures through some of my paintings.

I want people who view my art to be intrigued and curious about what lies beyond what they see.
