Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Allied Health and Nursing is honoring active, reserve and retired military members by offering a variety of dental, hearing and health services available at no charge.
During the “Health for Heroes” event, the public dental clinic is offering free dental cleanings, exams, x-rays and fluoride treatments. Cleanings will be at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. – appointments are required by calling 507-389-2147.
The Center for Communication Sciences and Disorders will be offering free hearing screenings between 8:00 a.m. – Noon and 1-5 p.m. Appointments are encouraged but not necessary by calling 507-389-1542/
Additional health and wellness resources, including nutrition information from the Dietetics program, will also be available on a drop-in basis from 11:30-1:30 in the atrium of the Clinical Sciences Building.
The event will be held in Minnesota State Mankato’s Clinical Sciences Building, located at 150 South Road in Mankato.
