Cats Teen Edition Auditions

Casting call for actors between 6th to 12th grade. Auditions are August 6 and 7 at 5:00 p.m. (Please arrive 10 – 15 min early).
Rehearsals are Monday through Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Performances are from September 29 to October 8. No conflicts will be accepted the last two weeks of rehearsal or any performance

We’re casting for Ademetus, Alonzo, Asparagus/Gus, Bill Bailey, Bombalurina, Carbucketty, Cassandra, Coricopat and Tantomile, Demeter, Grizabella, Jellylorum, Jemima, Jennyandots, Macavity, Mister Mistoffelees, Mungojerrie and Rempleteazer, Munkustrap, Old Deuteronomy, Quaxo, Rum Tum Tugger, Skimbleshanks, and Victoria.

Please bring sheet music for a song you have already learned. Mankato Playhouse will provide a pianist at auditions to accompany you. Do not use a song from the show. Do not sing to taped music or sing a cappella. You do not have to sing an entire song. Sixteen to 32 measures should be sufficient. We only want to get an idea of how well you can carry a tune and follow accompaniment. If you are “called back” we will ask you to sing some more.
