Blue Earth County History Center Is Reopening To The Public

    Mankato, MN – The Blue Earth County Historical Society (BECHS) is excited to announce “Welcome Back to History!” an exclusive re-opening of the Blue Earth County History Center to the general public on October 20. The current History Center hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment only.

    The History Center has been closed since March due to COVID-19 restrictions and a major remodeling project.

    To help ensure physical distancing and a safe and comfortable experience, BECHS will limit the number of visitors in the building and ask all visitors to pre-register for time slots via the website or by calling 507-345-5566. No one will be allowed into the building without an appointment.

    The History Center will be reopening with the following visitor guidelines in place:

    • Mask Requirements
    • Physical Distance Reminders
    • Cleaning and disinfecting protocols
    • Timed ticket entry
    • Hand sanitizer stations

    The safety of our visitors, staff and community are our top priority. We look forward to safely welcoming you back to the Blue Earth County History Center to enjoy our refreshed space.
