SAINT PETER, MINN. – More than 170 works of visual and literary art by creatives from throughout the region comprise The Member Show: New work by members of the Arts Center of Saint Peter, on display July 7-August 26 with an opening reception Saturday, July 15, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
“We have so much gratitude for the vulnerability and generosity this work represents,” said ARK, the gallerist and docent who recruited several new members to participate in the exhibition, which is the largest in the Arts Center’s 44-year history. Most of the work is for sale, with 70 percent going directly to the artist, and 30 percent supporting Arts Center programs and operations.
The public is welcome at the reception on Saturday, July 15, 3:00-5:00 p.m., featuring pie by The Cheese and Pie Mongers and music by the Mankato-based live beat performer CNDRM (Conundrum).
The Arts Center’s galleries are free, wheelchair-accessible, and open to the public Wednesdays-Fridays 1:00-5:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Sundays 1:00-5:00 p.m.
