The Hubbard House gardens are a beautiful oasis in the center of downtown Mankato celebrating nature and the historical backdrop of the Hubbard House and its Carriage House. Cared for by the Twilight Garden Club, the gardens feature a broad array of annual and perennial plants, flowers and shrubs throughout several growing areas and seasons.
Art in the Garden will celebrate not only these beautiful gardens, but also our rich art community. Join BECHS and TRCA for a fun and relaxing afternoon in the beautiful Hubbard House gardens. The event includes live music, garden tours by the Twilight Garden Club, botanical mixology demonstrations by Pub500, tours of the Hubbard House, local art pop-up, lawn games and activities. Enhance your experience with an English Tea box and/or a Bloom Bar hosted by Becky’s Floral (additional cost).
In addition, enter the Bouquet Making Contest. Amateur and professional bouquet artists are invited to compete to be Best in Show, which comes with a $100 cash prize and a commemorative vase. All experience and age levels are welcome to enter.
This event will take place rain or shine. All proceeds will benefit the Blue Earth County Historical Society and Twin Rivers Council for the Arts.
For more information, to purchase your tickets or to enter the competition, please visit www.twinriversarts.org/artinthegarden. Tickets are also available at the Blue Earth County History Center and Historic R. D. Hubbard House.
