The Two Rivers Community Orchestra (TRCO) is looking for string musicians to join the group this fall! Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, August 28, in the evening, at Oakwood United Methodist Church, 1630 Oakwood Ave, New Ulm, MN. The fall concert will take place on Saturday, October 15, at 2 pm at Martin Luther College.
TRCO encourages any interested string player to join this season. Those interested are welcome to come to the first practice to learn more about the literature picked for the season. TRCO’s vision is to establish a committed, core group of community musicians from the south-central area of Minnesota to perform in the orchestra. TRCO emphasizes the continued musical growth of its members and performs representative literature from all genres and time periods of music.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
