Tickets Available for United Way Men’s Event March 5

    MANKATO—Tickets are on sale now for the sixth annual United Way Men’s Event, 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at the Kato Ballroom, headlined by Minnesota veteran John Kriesel.

    The Men’s Event welcomes regional men ages 21+ to enjoy a casual night of fun, food, games and more to raise awareness of United Way’s work to improve lives in our region.

    The event includes food and beverage samples from local vendors, competitive games, silent auction and meat raffle. $1,700 in Scheels gift cards will be awarded. New this year: Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ Challenge Wing Eating Contest.

    Last year, the Men’s Event welcomed more than 330 attendees.

    Kriesel is a decorated Minnesota veteran, sports radio personality, former legislator and acclaimed motivational speaker. In 2006, Kriesel was catastrophically injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq and lost both his legs. He will share his story and how having perseverance, a strong support system, sense of humor and positive outlook has made him stronger than ever.
