NORTH MANKATO—Taylor companies are hosting an ice bucket challenge event to benefit Greater Mankato Area United Way at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8 at Taylor Technology Center parking lot.

The event is part of Taylor’s ongoing series of workplace activities to support Greater Mankato Area United Way’s 2023 campaign. After the success of Navitor Specialty Products’ ice bucket challenge last year, organizers expanded the special event to include all Taylor companies.

Of the 20 Taylor leaders to volunteer, five will get doused in ice water based on how many donations are collected in their name to benefit Greater Mankato Area United Way. Employees will also be enjoying lunch from food trucks.

The Taylor team is getting a head start on fundraising for United Way’s campaign that officially kicks off on July 26.
