Event features casual atmosphere, luxury experience
Mankato —Tickets are on sale now for the inaugural Flight Fundraiser at the Mankato Airport on Wednesday, October 9 from 5:30 to 9 p.m., benefiting the work of Greater Mankato Area United Way.
Tailwind and Exclusively Diamonds partnered to create the event that combines luxury, entertainment, and philanthropy at the Mankato Airport hangar. The event aims to make a lasting impact through United Way while providing attendees with an unforgettable experience at a unique venue.
Tickets are available at Bidpal.net/Flight24. Cost is $200 for an individual ticket, with reserved tables available. Event proceeds as well as 100% of ticket proceeds go to Greater Mankato Area United Way.
The come-as-you-are event welcomes attendees to be casual while enjoying displayed aircraft, luxury automobiles, and fine jewelry, each telling its own story of design and innovation. There will also be live music, craft cocktails, and culinary delights.
The highlight of the night is a live auction. It features exceptional items and experiences, including luxury vacations, airfare in a private jet, exclusive pro-sports packages, and an aerobatic airplane adventure. Packages have been donated by Tailwind.
“Our goal is always to expand our impact as we work to improve lives in our communities,” said Greater Mankato Area United Way CEO Barb Kaus. “As an all-new event that highlights many unique and innovative aspects of our region, the Flight Fundraiser is an exciting opportunity to unite and give back. We are grateful to Tailwind and Exclusively Diamonds for their generosity and vision in creating this fundraiser to make a tangible difference in our region.”
