State Street Theater Co. was the recipient of a generous gift from The New Ulm Area Foundation, Inc. (NUAF) to help support four upcoming shows. The foundation made a $5,000 grant to support Charlotte’s Web, November 20-22, 2020; The Johnny Cash Story, November 28, 2020; the Looney Lutherans, December 13, 2020; and Duelly Noted, January 15, 2021.
NUAF’s support of our theater enables us to continue to flourish as an organization dedicated to providing quality theater experiences for our region and the local community.
David Soul once wrote, “One of my beliefs is that there are certain institutions within a community which stand for the spirit and heart of that community, there’s the church, the local football team, the local pub, and the theatre.” Our theater and community genuinely appreciate NUAF’s donation to keep the community’s heart and spirit vibrant.
State Street Theater has adopted protocols that address social distancing and other related procedures for rehearsals and productions for audiences and actors alike.
