    August 11th, 2025

A Year of Chamber Music That Unites Cultures, Generations, and Hearts

Mankato — ProMusica Minnesota proudly announces its 2025–26 concert season, Living
Mosaic—a vibrant celebration of chamber music that shines with color, texture, and artistry. The season features three stunning signature concerts and the beloved June Festival, offering audiences a rich journey through timeless masterworks and fresh new voices.

Now in its 9th season, the ProMusica Minnesota Chamber Music Series continues to bring world-class chamber music to southern Minnesota. Led by pianist and Artistic Director Bethel Balge, the series showcases exceptional musicianship and imaginative programming that spans centuries and styles. Each performance offers audiences an intimate, inspiring concert experience in beautiful local venues.

“Our season premiere on September 21 bursts with energy and color, from Jessie Montgomery’s vibrant Strum to the lush romanticism of Brahms’ Piano Quintet,” says Artistic Director Bethel Balge. “We’re especially excited to honor Maurice Ravel’s 150th birthday with his sparkling Violin Sonata No. 2—a true jewel of the repertoire.”

The entire season, entitled “Living Mosaic”, weaves together diverse musical ideas.

“Like a mosaic catching the light, each concert is a carefully placed piece of art,” says Ann Fredrickson, Executive Director. “Together, they reflect the beauty of diversity—across eras, styles, and stories.”
