“We are pleased to announce the addition and opening of Kato Spirits to University Square Mall” said Alan Cole, General Manager of University Square Mall and Apartments. “They opened today in the former Stadium Spirits location to the east of Cold Stone Creamery. With several other businesses in the community, including Kato Pizzeria in our mall, we are excited to be a part of their newest venture.”

Our liquor store is set up to serve the community around us along with the college and our products will reflect that.” said Sukhpal (Sunny) one of the ownership “The Mand Brothers: Sukhpal, Amarpal & Pretpal.” Kato Spirits is located at 1600 Warren Street, Suite 6. Operating hours Monday – Saturday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
University Square Mall is a mixed-use development located directly across the street from Minnesota State University, Mankato. It is on the southeast end of campus by many of the sports facilities such as the Taylor Center and Bresnan Arena, Myers Field House, Blakeslee Field, Bowyer Field and the new Sports Dome.
The mall is anchored by AMC Theaters which is tentatively scheduled to re-open on August 7 with the anticipated upcoming release of “Tenet” on August 12th and “Mulan” on August 21st. We have great mix local and national tenants. With summer upon us, we are glad to have Fantastic Sams back open cutting hair. We are also happy to offer a variety of outdoor seating available at Weggy’s, Jonny B’s, Wakia’s Asian Fusion, Jimmy Johns, Caribou and Cold Stone Creamery.
