Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Theatre & Dance presents the 2021 Fall Dance Concert

    MANKATO – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Theatre & Dance will present the 2021 Fall Dance Concert Dec. 3 & 4 and the Student Dance Showcase on Dec. 5 in the Ted Paul Theatre in the Earley Center for Performing Arts.

    The Dec. 3 and 4 performances will be a full-length concert featuring eight pieces choreographed by both faculty and students and featuring 43 student performers. The Dec. 5 performance is a Student Dance Showcase, which is choreographed, designed, produced and performed by students.

    The Dance Concert will feature a contemporary ballet performance choreographed by Andreas Guest Artist and Minnesota State Mankato adjunct faculty member Allison Doughty Marquesen. Four of the pieces will also include music from guest composers and musicians Maia Eden, Ranjeet Hegde, Manik Raj Maharjan, and Michael James Olson, Chair of the Music and Entertainment Industries at Minnesota State Mankato.

    The 2021 Fall Dance Concert is at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3, and 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 4.

    The Student Dance Showcase is on Dec. 5 at 2:00 p.m.

    Tickets are $10 regular, $9 for seniors ages 65 and older, children under 16 and groups of 15 or more; and $8 for MSU students for the Fall Dance Concert. Tickets for the Student Showcase are $5 and available at the door.
