Minnesota Senior Games Returns to Mankato This Week

    Mankato, Minn.  — The Minnesota Senior Games, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield, a state-wide sporting event returns to greater Mankato this week.

    • What: Starting Thursday, the four-day event will feature over 22 competitions including traditional sporting contests such as track and field and cycling as well as pickleball and table tennis. See weekend guide online on attached.
    • When: Thursday, August 12 through Sunday, August 15.

    • Who: Visit Mankato Sports and Special Events Director, Joy Leafblad will speak on behalf of Visit Mankato.

    About The Mankato Senior Games:

    The Minnesota Senior Games exists today as a non-profit organization dedicated to motivating active adults to lead a healthy lifestyle through the senior games movement.

    The Games, a 20 plus sport, annual competition for men and women 50 and over, is a statewide competition but also brings in athletes from all over the country. Visit Mankato will host the 2021 & 2022 Minnesota Senior Games August 12-15, 2021.
