For Mankato area fans of all things music and entertainment, the New Year’s party is not over quite yet. IV Play is back home in Mankato this weekend playing at Buster’s Sport Bar & Grill Friday, January 3rd at 9pm.
Established in 1999, IV Play has been the premier party band in Minnesota and throughout the Midwest for over 20 years. Playing regularly across 6 states, they are rarely not playing a weekend somewhere. Constantly on the road, it’s great to see them back at Buster’s to celebrate their new happenings in 2020. In fact, they just rang in the New Year this week down in Fairmont!
The hometown boy and remaining original member, Tyler Dylla, has been with the band since the beginning on guitar and vocals as well as lighting up his fiddle with a staple rendition of “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” that should not be missed.
Scott Peterson, also born and raised in Mankato, joined the crew around 2007 heading up the Sexy of the band as Audio and Sound Production adding to their memorable live performance experience.
Drummer Erich Winter, hailing from southern Minnesota, joined IV Play in 2010.
Lead Vocalist, Jeremy Poland and Lead Guitarist Lantz Dale joined the guys in 2013 with a stage chemistry that is hard to beat. These two also have a side project playing originals you may want to catch.
Wes Bollingmo on Bass rounded out the rhythm section in 2015, but that doesn’t seem to do him justice. The guy has been playing clubs since he was 14 after all!
The newest member of IV Play, Wade Crooker joined IV Play around 2016 helping out as a roadie and sitting in on the keys. He quickly became a full time member of the band on keys and as the sax man.
All these guys seem to sing and play multiple instruments throughout the night while keeping the energy high and ensuring a good time!
Playing everything from large music festivals to area bars and private shows like weddings and other events, IV Play entertains a large range of music fans. On any given night, you can catch them playing Styx, Bruno Mars, Charlie Daniels Band, Journey, and Garth Brooks among many others throughout their set.
The guys are taking the opportunity to launch their new merch line and website by hosting a photo contest live at Buster’s with a giveaway to one lucky fan. There they will announce the new online store and celebrate the beginning of a third decade in the music scene. So, have your phone ready and bring along your camera if you’re a pro like that!
