Mankato, MN – BECHS is excited to continue bringing online programs through Zoom Video Communications. Join us each week for a new program! The June 18 at 4 p.m. topic is “Equality at the Ballot Box.”
Professor of History at Minnesota State, Mankato Dr. Lori Lahlum will present on her book, Equality at the Ballot Box: Votes for Women on the Northern Great Plains. This book compiles 18 original essays, encompassing many different aspects of the suffrage movement. Discover how our neighbors to the West made their mark in the fight for Equality at the Ballot Box.
This book is also available for sale in the BECHS Online Gift Shop.
Each presentation will be led by a BECHS staff person or historian and include time for Q&A. The cost is $7/adults, Free for BECHS Members.
