Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota Partners with Feeding Our Communities Partners for Second Year

    June 5th, 2023

MANKATO, MN – The Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota is pleased to partner with Feeding Our Communities Partners (FOCP) for a second year through its Summer Pack Food Program. The Museum is providing a One-Day Family Free Pass for each of the 1,000 summer food packages distributed in June to area youth.

FOCP’s Summer Pack Program is a free program that provides students in grades K-12 with additional nutrition in the summer months. FOCP delivers one box containing a months’ worth of nutritious, well-balanced, youth-friendly weekend food items directly to students’ doorsteps throughout the summer.

Last year, area families were excited by the inclusion of the family passes. The partnership allowed families an opportunity to nourish minds through the Museum experience. This thoughtful partnership has provided smiles and kindness to many area families and youth.
