Camp Sweet Life Adventures, Inc. receives grant from Mankato Clinic Foundation

    Camp Sweet Life Adventures, Inc. has received a $5,000 grant from the Mankato Clinic Foundation to be used for Camp 2023 and our CSL Connects Programs. CSL Connects is Camp Sweet Life’s “other than camp time” activities and support for kids, parents, and family members affected by Type One Diabetes in our Mankato area.

    The mission of Camp Sweet Life is to Connect, empower and transform kids with Type One Diabetes.

    Camp is held once a year at Camp Courage (near Maple Lake MN). This year Camp Sweet Life hosted camp for 100 overnight campers ages 8 – 15, 8 day campers ages 5-7, 32 Counselors, and an amazing 27 medical staff!

    The Mankato Clinic Foundation provides grants once a quarter to organizations and initiatives that promote and improve community health and wellness in the communities the clinic serves. The Mankato Clinic Foundation is proud to support these organizations.

    The physicians at the Mankato Clinic provide the majority of the Foundation funding as a means to give back to the community by providing support to organizations which strive to improve health and wellness.
