Honorees Announced for 2025 Greater Mankato Business Awards & Hall of Fame

    Mankato – Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. is pleased to announce the honorees for the 2025 Greater Mankato Business Awards & Hall of Fame, taking place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm in the Grand Hall of the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in downtown Mankato.

    Presented by Abdo, this premier event celebrates the outstanding businesses, professionals, and organizations shaping the Greater Mankato region. Each year, Greater Mankato Growth, Visit Mankato, Downtown Partnership of Mankato-North Mankato, and GreenSeam come together to recognize excellence in business, community leadership, tourism, downtown development, and agribusiness.

    2025 Business Hall of Fame Inductee: APX Construction Group

    Recognizing distinguished businesses or organizations that have made significant contributions to the region’s economic growth, created quality jobs, and demonstrated exceptional community engagement and ethical leadership.

    Business Legacy: Mankato Clinic

    Honoring a past Hall of Fame inductee that continues to exemplify excellence as an employer of choice, foster a positive workplace culture, and demonstrate strong community involvement and support.

    Development Project of the Year: Winner to Be Announced at Event

    This category recognizes a new development or redevelopment project that elevates the Greater Mankato regional marketplace through its regional economic impact or innovative architecture and design, which greatly improves the aesthetics of the area where this project is located. The winner in this category will be announced at the event. The three finalists are: 1531 Madison Ave. Redevelopment Project, Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic Performance Lab, and the Tourtellotte Pool Redevelopment.

    Talent Innovation Award: Winner to Be Announced at Event

    The Talent Innovation award will honor the success of a business or organization leading the way in talent attraction and retention through reducing barriers to work for traditionally overlooked talent pools, providing innovative training to employees, creating opportunities for high school and college students, modifying work schedules, hiring from outside the region, or taking other actions that serve as an industry best practice to grow and develop our region’s labor force. The two finalists are: ISG and Taylor Corporation.

    The Coolest Thing Made in Greater Mankato: Winner to Be Chosen by Popular Vote at Event

    The winner of this category will be chosen at the event by the attendees. This award honors the contributions of businesses that bring attention to our region by producing innovative and unique physical or digital goods or services. This year’s Finalists included Jarraff by Prinoth, Pneumat Systems, Inc., and Winland Electronics, Inc., with the winner chosen by popular vote at the event.

    Recognizing an individual, group, or organization that worked alongside Visit Mankato to bring a significant event or tournament to the region, enhancing tourism and economic activity.

    Downtown Partnership of Mankato-North Mankato Award

    CityDesign Award: The Alma (mural; 105 E Walnut Street, Mankato)

    Honoring a creative placemaking project that contributes to the vitality, beauty, and cultural vibrancy of Mankato’s City Center.

    Seamed in Success: Christensen Farms

    Recognizing a business, organization, or individual that has made a large impact on the region through innovation and commitment to advancing southern Minnesota’s agricultural economy.

    Growing in the GreenSeam: Cry Baby Craig’s

    Celebrating a new or emerging agribusiness that demonstrates innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and meaningful contributions to the GreenSeam region.
