    The Rapidan Dam is an active, hydro-electric dam situated on the Blue Earth River.

    Completed in 1910, the dam and reservoir are the property of Blue Earth County. The turbines, generators and equipment are owned and operated by North American Hydro.

    The dam is 87′ from creek bed to the top and is 475′ long and produces enough electricity for 2000-3000 residences.
