The Hubbard house, built by the founder of the Hubbard Milling Company, R.D. Hubbard, is a historic gem in the heart of Mankato.

The Hubbard family lived in the house until 1938. At that time, the Blue Earth County Historical Society purchased it and has managed it ever since.

Original architecture and furniture remain in the house along with personal belongings of the family.

Guided tours are available in the summer months and during “Christmas at the Hubbard House” events in December.

The stately home and carriage house are surrounded with beautiful perennial gardens tended by The Twilight Garden Club.
