Event Details

Explore the distinctive craft of Herman Melville through readings of Moby Dick (the whole thing if you’re ambitious; excerpts if you’re a regular person), writing exercises, and group workshop critiques of participants’ original work.

For aspiring writers, or active writers seeking the support of a workshop environment. For all levels 16+. (Min: 4, Max: 8.) Please provide your own copy of Moby Dick (used or library-borrowed preferred, vs. electronic).

Every other Wednesday 7-8:30 p.m., June 3, June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29, Aug. 12. $40.
