Participate in a three-part live cooking class with Dining Services & Student Events Team! Cook alongside professional chefs via Facebook Livestream:

  • 11/11 – Chicken Alfredo
  • 11/18 – Friendsgiving Squash
  • 12/03 – Chili Con Carne (Vegan option available)

Below are the ingredients necessary for Chili Con Carne:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ½ cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
