Come join us for this classic 5k held in conjunction with Madison Lake Paddlefish Days. This race funds the Patrick Freeberg Memorial Scholarship which is given to an athlete on the Mankato East Cross Country or Track team for which Patrick ran. Join Ney on the Minnesota River to have fun paddling while supporting Ney's education programs and the preservation of the park. Along the river, find trivia games, snacks and drinks, education and more! Prices vary.
There will be music from Hotel Blue from 5-9 p.m., prizes for best costumes, raffle tickets and auction items. 100% of the proceeds all go to non-profits in New Ulm.
This program covers the basics of archery (safety, proper care of the equipment and how to use a bow). Must be eight years or older.
There will be a chance to test out your GPS skill on a critter activity by searching for six stations each one representing an animal you might see at Minneopa State Park.
