Teen Writing Workshop

They say everyone has a book in them, and now, thanks to Sigma’s Bookshelf, getting published as a teenager is a real possibility. Rachel M. Anderson, co-founder of Sigma’s Bookshelf, will lead a Writing and Publishing Workshop for teenagers interested in novel writing.

We’ll explore where story ideas come from, character development, story outlining, and how to get started on your manuscript. The workshop will also explore the publishing process, explaining different types of publishing, book distribution, and royalties. Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on writing and editing exercises, learn about Sigma’s Bookshelf, and get their questions about writing and publishing answered.
