December 30 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 30th, 2021
Do you have a DSLR camera that you don’t know how to operate? This class is intended to help owners of DSLR cameras learn what the basic adjustments on their cameras are used for.
We will spend time discussing what ISO is and how to set it properly for various picture-taking situations. You will learn how to set the camera’s shutter speed and aperture for proper exposure and to stop/blur action.
You will learn how to adjust the aperture to control the depth of field in your pictures. Choosing your camera’s focusing mode will help ensure sharp pictures. Discussions about lighting angles, composition, different focal length lenses, and white balance will improve your photography.
In order to get the most out of the class, you will be encouraged to take photos outside of class for practice and share them with class members. Class members are encouraged to bring up photographic topics/situations they are interested in addressing.
Please bring your camera gear to class including the instruction manual that came with your camera. This class has a minimum of 6 and a max of 14 students.
