Mankato Makerspace | Intro to the Lathe: Wooden Bowls 101

This course will introduce you to the wood lathe and the process of making a wooden bowl. We’ll cover machine set-up, tool safety, and usage, turning techniques, selecting and preparing wood, and sharpening. You will get a chance to shave some ribbons from the bowl blank. And decide if bowl-making is right for you! There is an age restrictions 18+ ( 16 & 17 with parent consent). Register here.
