Key City Bike presents the 7th Annual Mankato Cranksgiving, doing good on 2 wheels. It’s part bike ride, part shopping for a good cause, and part scavenger hunt. This year’s ride will take place on November 11th, Veterans Day.
Try something new for your charitable giving this year! Grab your friends and family and join us for a fun and challenging November bicycle ride around Mankato! This isn’t your average stroll around town…you’ll be buying household items from local stores to benefit Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) while competing to win some cool prizes!
All donations collected will go to MACV to create move-in kits for homeless veterans. MACV is a nonprofit that provides services that address the reasons for Veterans’ homelessness in order to create sustainable housing opportunities.
On Saturday, November 11th, we will start & end at Key City Bike. Registration is at noon. (come early for bonus points opportunity!)
At 12:45 p.m. we will distribute the Manifest. At 1 p.m. the ride starts. At 4 p.m. the celebration begins!
Difficulty: This is an event for all skill levels. You will be biking throughout Mankato a distance between 5-15 miles (you’ll decide how far your route when manifests are distributed).
