Celebrating Minnesota’s Fishing Opener

Celebrate the Minnesota fishing season at the Children’s Museum! We will have special guests from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Learn with the DNR through a hands-on activity about how the life cycle of an acorn affects wildlife and in turn protects the waterways.

Create pathways and landscapes in the MN PCA’s Stream Table and learn how water affects the land. The PCA will also be bringing Zooplankton, which are small animals that live near the surface in aquatic environments, for us to observe and learn about!
