Greater Mankato Growth and Saint Peter Chamber to Provide Masks to Businesses

    MANKATO, MINN. – Beginning Saturday, July 25th the State of Minnesota will require face coverings to limit the spread of COVID-19 per Executive Order 20-81.

    Greater Mankato Growth and the Saint Peter Chamber of Commerce are working in partnership to distribute a one-time supply of masks for businesses in Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties from the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

    Businesses within Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties can pick-up masks being distributed by Greater Mankato Growth at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center located at 1 Civic Center Plaza, Mankato (see the attached map and instructions) on the following dates/times:

    • Monday, July 27 – 11 am to 5 pm
    • Tuesday, July 28 – 7:30 to 10:30 am and 3 to 6 pm

    It is preferred that businesses utilize these designated distribution times for pick-up. Beyond these distribution dates, any remaining masks will be distributed via appointment by contacting Greater Mankato Growth at 507.385.6640.

    Greater Mankato Growth is also delivering masks to and partnering with all area communities throughout Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties to ensure businesses in need have access to the supply of masks provided by DEED.

    Nicollet County businesses may also obtain masks by contacting the Saint Peter Chamber of Commerce at 507.934.3400 or visiting their location at 101 South Front Street, Saint Peter.

    Masks are available for any business to ensure they are following the state requirement.Masks come in packages of 50 and businesses will be limited to a total of up to 5 packages totaling 250 masks initially.

    Mask Pick-up Map & Instructions:

    You can pick up your donation at the arena entrance on the south side of the event center. See the illustrated map below to identify the exact location. For easiest access turn off 2nd Street onto Hickory Street and continue until you see signage for mask pick-up. Use designated parking area where staff will provide contactless delivery to your vehicle.
