MANKATO – GreenSeam will host its annual Rural Forum on Thursday, December 4, 2025, presented by Gislason & Hunter. The event convenes business and community leaders, policymakers, and agricultural professionals to highlight the innovation and policy shaping the future of the ag industry.
The keynote speaker this year is Jacqueline McCloskey of Fair Oaks Farms, one of the leading agritourism and agricultural innovation destinations in the Midwest. As the business development director, McCloskey has helped guide the growth of Fair Oaks Farms across hospitality, education, and sustainability initiatives. Her presentation will explore how Fair Oaks Farms leverages innovative approaches, immersive experiences, and educational initiatives to engage consumers and inspire a deeper understanding of modern agriculture.
The evening will also feature a panel of Minnesota legislators who will share their perspectives on current state policies and priorities that influence agriculture.
“The Rural Forum provides an opportunity for ag and community leaders to gain perspective on how business innovation and state policy intersect to shape the industry,” said Sam Ziegler, Director of GreenSeam.
The Rural Forum will take place at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato. Doors open at 4:30 pm, followed by dinner, a legislative panel, and the keynote presentation.
