Bethany Lutheran College Begins Its Theater Season

    Mankato – The Theatre Department of Bethany Lutheran College is pleased to announce its first show of the season, Theatre Physics 31, a popular, physical skit-comedy series filled with fun antics and lively sketches directed by father-son duo Peter and Hans Bloedel. Performances will take place in the Sig Lee Theater at Bethany Lutheran College, 700 Luther Dr., Mankato September 19-21 during the annual Fall Festival Homecoming weekend.

    There will be five opportunities to see this show: Friday, September 19 at 7 and 9 p.m., Saturday, September 20 at 5 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, September 21 at 2 p.m.

    Fans of Bethany Theatre will gladly welcome back this bi-annual, fan-favorite show that kicks off a delightful season of literary themed classics. A world premier adaptation of Little Women opens in November followed by the winter musical, Cameron Makenzie and Disney’s Mary Poppins. The year wraps up with performances of C.S. Lewis’s beloved fantasy The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in the spring.
